The partnership between HABES Lab and Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) epitomizes the convergence of academic excellence and industry leadership, catalyzing groundbreaking research and practical applications in Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI), particularly within the intricacies of the medical domain. One notable outcome of this collaboration is the development of SSI-enabled frameworks tailored to the unique needs of the medical ecosystem. By harnessing the power of decentralized identity management, these frameworks empower patients with granular control over their health data, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility across disparate healthcare systems and providers.
FBK
Our project with UNINA are related to the Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs). Researchers from both entities have delved deep into the nuances of PUFs, exploring Arduino Uno and STM32, as well as novel applications. Through rigorous experimentation and theoretical modeling, they have unearthed new insights into the fundamental principles underlying PUF operation and resilience against attacks.
