We are glad to announce that our extended abstract
“Digital Transformation: The Role of Decentralized Authentication in the Internet of Everything”
has been accepted and presented at the International Workshop on Intelligent Governance, Cybersecurity, and Knowledge Management (IGCKM 2025).
The work explores how Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) and verifiable credentials can support secure and scalable authentication in the Internet of Everything (IoE)—even for constrained devices. By delegating cryptographic operations to lightweight IoT nodes and using DID-based identity, the architecture enables secure interactions without relying on centralized infrastructures.
This contribution highlights our ongoing research into privacy-preserving and decentralized identity management for smart, heterogeneous environments.
