The BIP offers a training course for students interested in cybersecurity and data protection. The aim of the programme is to provide the necessary tools to analyse and assess information security requirements, as well as to develop the skills needed to communicate them effectively to the stakeholders involved in the system development life cycle. Different methods for security requirements engineering are explored, with a particular focus on defining and eliciting requirements for advanced security solutions.
The course includes theoretical lectures, practical activities, and interactive discussion sessions. The online lectures will help harmonise participants’ skills, despite their different backgrounds. The in-person lectures, instead, will provide an opportunity to work on real cases involving requirements elicitation for industrial systems. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to develop a group project, which will be presented at the end of the course.
